I hate being sick...

What a weekend..

Friday was really good actually, but on this day, it started.. the terrible cold I get at least once a year.. It began with a sore throat on this day, so nothing really stopping me from doing anything.. This day included going to dinner at Chen's and catching the 7:20 showing of The Messengers in Bay City Mall. The movie was good, however, due to a young girl, maybe middle school or 9th grade, I jumped more often than needed. She insisted on screaming about every little thing. Even the a bag in the barn that had a cover over it. I also seen my cousin Tabitha, who was in the same movie as I was.. she said hello when I first walked in. After the movie, we continued on to Daniel's house. Seeing that it was only 9 something when we arrived, we decided we would watch Father of our Flags. We both agreed it was a very good movie. I then went home to lay down on my bed and it began.. My whole head felt like a sponge immersed into water. I then had a hard time breathing, and about an hour and a half later, fell asleep.

Saturday - I woke up not being able to breathe, and having to blow my nose a lot. This day, was very non-eventful and I sat around or laid around for most of it. I watched quite a few episodes of Scrubs, then about 1/2 of My Boss's Daughter. I eventually laid down, and fell asleep quite quickly.

Sunday - Ah, Superbowl Sunday. Most people are out partying. Where am I? At home with my 2 brothers and my mother. Chris and I both had plans today, however, since we've been "owned by a cold", we sit home... today was the worst day of the cold. I begin actually coughing. And its not little coughs, no, when I woke up it was like coughing a lung out or something. However, thanks to Linda's Grocery for having cough drops yesterday, they have helped quite a bit with the coughing. So now its not sooo bad anymore. But still a lot of coughing and sneezing.. However, my mom went grocery shopping today instead of me going, which was a plus. She is now on her way home with many groceries that include the items needed for nachos, mexican pizza, tacos, and banana splits tonight.

I'm hoping I get better soon, because I have a very busy week ahead of me.

Doctors are stupid

So the MRI is completely normal, imagine that. And nothing is wrong with my knee so I don't need a follow up they say. However, I don't this would be going on since July if nothing was wrong with it. I think most doctors are stupid because half the time I go to one, I get a new prescription for IBU800 or IBU600 or Darvocet, and the last time I visited he was going to give me something else but I said I didn't want anything... I think they just like to make me come in every 2 weeks so they can have my money.. idiots...

So now that I've vented about that.. My accomplishments today..

I finished MOD (Manager on Duty) training on the computer so tonight I learned how to close... and I will close Friday night and Tuesday night.

Tomorrow consists of a lot of homework, in addition to running to Bay City quick and probably Movie Gallery for a second if I get time. We'll see.. but thats about all.. the only thing I did today was get ready for work, and then work 2-9:30, come home, and do nothing :)...

Being Productive

Well today, I had a lot of homework I had to do, however, I didn't get any of this done. I made a list of bills and such last night, looked at it, and I decided, I need to work for my mom. I earned $10 today by setting her blog up for her, and helping her with some other things. I will continue to work for her throughout the month, and at the end of each month, I will add up all the money I made, and deduct it from payments I make to her every month (car payments, insurance, and cell phone). Good thinking for me. Because she agreed it will work nicely :). As for my homework, My mom said to wait until about 10pm for Zack to be off the livingroom computer so I could do my homework, seeing that I have to print and that's the only computer with a printer. Around 11:30ish he was off the computer. About 1am, I am working on my homework, then I get to a part in my book where I actually do something on the computer (it's for my online course). Well, come to find out, we have Microsoft Office 2000 in the livingroom, not 2003. So I have no way of doing my homework at my house now, unless we get the network set up so I can send documents to the printer from my computer, because you print as you go in this class. Or until we get Microsoft 2003 out there. My bet on which will happen faster, if it will work at all, the network.

So around 1:15 now, I am wide awake, because I went to bed at 9 and woke up at 11:30 to do homework. I try to figure out what to do, and it came to me. I am never productive when working on homework in my bedroom because my computer desk is a catastrophe. Papers EVERYWHERE. SO, what do I do? I decide to clean it off. I threw away over half of what was on the computer desk, cleaned it with Orange Cleaner (a cleaner for wood from Art Van), move my monitor to a better area, organize my papers that I kept, and then set my school books neatly on one side, my business cards and magnets on the right side, along with notecards, all purpose labels, and a notepad to write on, because I tend to write a lot. I also have my Spence Brothers mug, that I recieved free at a Business Expo, and that is to the right hand side with pens, pencils, highlighters, and a Sharpie. This took me a long time to do, (if you would have seen it before it was cleaned you would understand).

Now for my next goals...
1.) Clean out the sterilite Drawer cart to the right of my desk and organize it with my business materials, such as the catalogs, and order forms, etc.
2.) To organize the pile of clothes and other random things to the left of the computer desk.
3.) Clean off the vanity mirror.
4.) Organize the roll top desk.
5.) Organize the black 4 compartment shelf

And that's all for now.. So much to do, so little time.

Sledding

Well tonight, Kayla, Mitch, Anthony, Tracy, Alex, Jenny, Daniel, and I all went sledding. It was fun, but there was some downsides...

*Mitch landed on his tailbone
*Kayla landed on her tailbone quite badly
*I lost my phone
*A bone in Daniel's foot is broken in 2 spots

And thats how it ended up :) It was quite fun though..

So seeing that my nextel has disappeared into the snow... I will have to be buying a new one most likely... So therefore, I will not be switching over to a different service provider. There goes my Blackberry Pearl :(..

Tomorrow = MRI at 2:15, plus a lot of homework and reading...
